It is not a normal experience to walk through a coffee estate early in the morning.

You hear birds, touch cool air and smell fresh coffee beans.

Most of the plantation owners are glad to tell how coffee is cultivated and sold.

I have had an evening sitting there with a local home family, drinking homemade coffee, and listening to stories about the life of the plantation.

That was the only experience that made my journey special.

The thing that I found most interesting was the hospitality of people.

The kindness was not forced, as it can be when an owner of the shop was telling directions or a host offered them more food.

Adventure and Nature Activities:

  • Trekking through hills and forests
  • River rafting during certain seasons
  • Nature walks and bird watching
